National Black Women’s Equal Pay Day will be recognized on September 21 in 2022. This day highlights the need for improvement in employment pay for Black Women. Although Black Women now head 60 percent of all African American Households, they are paid only 63 cents for every one dollar their white male peers make for doing the same job. Hopefully, the continued promotion of these job disparities will aide in making needed and immediate change. the graphs below clearly show the unfairness of employment wages.
