Joe Louis

 Legendary professional boxer Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama.   He was World Heavyweight Champion from 1937 to 1949 and retired with a  record of 66 wins (52 by KO), three losses,  no draws and one no contest.   Nicknamed the "Brown Bomber" Louis died in Paradise, Nevada on April 12, 1981 at age 66.
